Never let anyone dull your sparkle. Inspire others with your beauty.

I came across the first sentence of the title post on Pinterest (I'm addicted) and it just spoke to me on many levels.

One example is that I love anything that sparkles and shines....I get easily distracted by shiny objects, especially Swarovski crystals and miracle beads.  Checkout my etsy shop at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/LuminaryJewelry

Another example, on a deeper level, is that this sentence spoke to me because I felt like the work that I do (I'm a lawyer in a very emotionally draining field with an unbelievable high case-load, with challenging clients, co-workers, and supervisors) was dulling my sparkle.   I was living life day after day like a robot.  I was letting all of this breed anger, resentment, and unhappiness inside of me.  This was not the life I wanted.

I live my life by the phrase, "When you are lying on your death bed, are you going to say that you were glad you did _______________________, (fill in the blank) or are you going to say you are glad you did ________________________ (fill in the blank.  Well, for me, I don't want to say on my death bed that I was glad that I wasted my life being miserable and unhappy in a job that I didn't enjoy. I want to say that I was glad that I followed my designing and creating jewelry and traveling, both of which make me very happy. It is my hope that my business can happen anywhere in the world and thus fulfill my wanderlust.

So.......I'm never going to let anyone dull my sparkle again and I'm going to pursue what makes me sparkle and in the process be an inspiration to myself and hopefully others through the beauty of jewelry and the beauty of taking risks to follow your dream.

How are you going to let your sparkle shine?
